Creating opportunity for all Athletes

Check out this fantastic article by Andy Prest in the North Shore News on our inaugural wave for adaptive athletes.

The North Shore Triathlon is about participation and inclusivity, we truly believe that everyone should have the opportunity experience a triathlon and the sense of accomplishment it brings.

In support of this goal the North Shore Triathlon is happy to announce a new kids wave for adaptive athletes. More information is available in a one page PDF that can be found here. Our vision is to allow all aspiring athletes, regardless of their personal challenges, the opportunity to participate in the North Shore Triathlon.

In this first year registration is limited to 10 athletes, the link to registration can be found in the top menu.

Celebrating how we give back!

For 27 years the North Shore Triathlon has been proud to support the local community with proceeds from the race. Over the years we have donated over $210,000 to local organizations and this would not be possible without the generous and loyal support of our sponsors, volunteers and athletes!

For the last two years we have been offering a bursary to North Shore students as they prepare for their next challenge. Our goal is to recognize students who show an ability across three main criteria: academics, athletics and community involvement.

In 2016 we were delighted to present $1,000 to Mikaela Kautzky and Mehrdad Esmaeili too help support their post-secondary education and we are looking forward to continuing our support in 2017.

2016 Bursary recipients

As we look ahead to our 28th annual race we hope you will continue to be a part of our leagacy.
